Brief History

Bharti AXA General Insurance was Incorporated on 13th July 2007 and commenced national operations in August 2008. Headquartered in Bangalore, it currently has its presence in 100 locations across the country. Bharti AXA General Insurance has become one of the fastest growing companies in the general insurance space by achieving a GWP of over 200 crores in the first calendar year of business.

The company is also the first in the GI Industry to. receive dual certifications of ISO 9001: 2008 & ISO 27001 :2005 within the first year of operations.

Offers over 50 products for retail, rural and commercial clients, covering health motor, home as well as Property & Engineering, Fire & Marine Insurance, with a strength of over 1000 employees including its direct sales force and 2000 agents.

Promoters of the company

Bharti Group holds 74% of equity and AXA Group holds 26% of the equity.
